My manager had set up my ID to be able to log into FDM, but when I try to log in (using that ID which is the same as the one used for HFM), I receive an error message that says:
Error: An error occurred logging on to the system
Detail: Type mismatch
My manager's ID and Password are the same for FDM as they are for just HFM and she is able to log in just fine. Is there something else that needs to be done to get me access?
Please perform the following:
a) Logon to the FDM application server
b) Launch the FDM Load Balance configuration
c) Click on the Authentication Providers tab
d) Highlight the OpenLdap/HSS provider and choose "Modify"
e) Click the "Logon Test' button and enter your uid/pwd and click OK
Is the logon test successful or do you receive an error? I am expecting an error.
At this point you would need to open a service request with Oracle to have an analyst take a look at your authentication provider setup and your environment to determine the cause. The type mismatch is caused from the inability to authenticate your user account with the provider.
