have u checked the implied sharing?
What do you mean implied sharing?
do you have a any of the below conditions1 person found this helpful
1) A parent has only one child
2) A parent has only one child that consolidates to the parent.Ex:
If any of the above cases applies then make the parent as never share.
There is a good write up of implied sharing in the essbase dbag :- http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/esb_dbag/dotattrs.htm#dotattrs1042993
Also check your form.1 person found this helpful
You could have a scenario where the same line or column is repeated and since the second line is blank it trumps the first line with data. This causes me no end of fits in smartview when loading tons of data from a grid perspective.
Thanks all it was a combo of both. I remember now the implied sharing.
The dimension did only have one child to one parent but the form was the problem. We had idescendants on it and store on the parent and it was wiping out the data each time.
For now since it is a very unused member the parent is still at store as I check our allocation scripts but the form was switch to use the direct child.
all is good
Ran across a variation of this today. Had shared members in hierarchy and doing level 0 descendents. Form has duplicates and last one trumps first one. A little perplexing at midnight.
