This has happened several times where someone comes in the morning and their user account is locked up. It is showing them already logged in, even though it's been several days since they logged in. Is there a way to boot their profile so they can log in? I know how to do it on the web access, but noone seems to know how to do it for the client.
If you have PMDB database access, you can check usession table. There might be some inactive sessions hanging in there. Update the column delete_session_id to "0" there if you are sure that session is inactive. Commit the changes.
This should resolve your issue.
Sorry for this, but I'm still new in using database and I'm using oracle 10g xe for P7. Can you tell me the steps in changing the delete_session_id to 0 cause this is almost the same problem for me. I'm using stand alone and another admin user is still logged in regardless if I shut down my computer.
For a default stand-alone installation:
Open a command prompt, type> sqlplus admprm$pm/<password>@XE <click Enter>
SQL> delete from usession; <click Enter>
SQL> commit; <click Enter>
SQL> exit <click Enter>
