Its my personal computer, and im in the us, there's nothing they can do from there in the uk, and im not located near one of the jagex usa branches, that being one of the main reasons for me asking for help. And like i said im not trying to let them know something is messed up.

Regarding your problem: Unfortunately it's pretty hard to diagnose your problem from afar and this isn't really the correct form (this is about software development using Java, not about end-user installation support for Java).
You could try to contact Sun (probably costly) or a local "help-with-my-computer" service (probably cheaper, quality may vary a lot).
Whats funny is you dont know anything about jagex, and trust me, i know plenty about internet privacy, so i dont need you to tell me. And another funny thing is that this forum is made by sun, but it sucks, and i just went to another forum and they had it figured out in a few minutes, after never hearing that issue before.
And another thing, there is a reason certain people work for big name companies and some dont.
Think about that for a second.

What is more funny is how much you do not know about Jagex. All people with an office job work out of the UK. They do not have high ranking employees working in the USA making a fool out of themselves on SUN's forum when anyone who knows what they are doing and were actually high ranking Jagex employees would contact their administrator without hesitation. You're not fooling anyone.
I work for a Fortune 100 company in the IT Architecture group.
The attitude most of you displayed here is why I do everything I can to keep Java and open source out of the company.
I got the same problem trying to fix Java so my son can run his game from Jagex. Sun's crappy install doesn't properly remove all the registry keys. Once I found the bat file to remove them, I got past the install stopping poing and it worked fine.
Any of you could have said "I don't know" or "try another forum", but you did the usual open-source thing of insulting anyone other than another wizard.
That lack of respect, and lack of understanding what a properly finished and tested product should do is why we don't trust our production stuff to Java if we can help it.
Thanks for the polite response.
I filed a report on www.java.com, and got the following message:
"Thank you for taking the time to write. We will read your comments carefully and reply as soon as possible. Due to the high volume of inquiries, we must reserve our responses for questions that are not answered on the java.com website."
I'll let you know if I hear anything back.
