How can I increase the JVM heap to 2.4G.
I referred the old thread (http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=538&threadID=5391585 )on same topic but it didn't help.Do you have 3 or 4 gigs of physical memory?
it mentioned that start the OS in /3GB mode and it also says that we have to consider the physical memory.
In my laptop through task manager I can see the physical memory available is 3667864. I increased heap value to -Xmx2048m and JVM exit with "JMS Terminated Exit Code=1".
And you have XP Professional?
Other than that it might not be sufficient to do only that.
You can read the following if you wish.
