In your manifest, you should have something like this - in fact, I just tried it and this should in fact work, manifest_testjama:
Where TestJama is my own class that uses the Jama package classes. In your Java source file you:
Class-Path: Jama-1.0.2.jar Main-Class: TestJama
If your Jama jarfile resides in the same place as your own jar, then jar it like this:
import Jama.*; // ... etc public class TestJama
Then you can just zip the jars up together and distribute them as an executable self extracting zip file.
jar cvmf0 manifest_testjama TestJama.jar TestJama.class *.jar
I have 4 java files.
GA.java --- this is the main class. It does all the interface stuff
population.java -- this uses the Jama stuff. Does some matrix algebray
best.java -- just another class
adjmat.java -- just another class.
I added the line Class Path: Jama-1.0.2.jar to my manifest file so that it reads:
Class Path: Jama-1.0.2.jar
But when I build, I end up with a jar file called GA.jar. I double click it... nothing happens.
Color me baffled
