Have you been taught about Layout Managers?
No; they came up during my searching, but it always seemed to be in reference to JFrames only
It's part of the Swing tutorial, but applies equally to AWT in respect of layout managers that are available in AWT. But why, in this day and age, are you ceating an AWT GUI and not using the more modern and more flexible Swing?
Unfortunately, my computer science teacher decided to only teach us AWT, because he doesn't understand that technology evolves. Rather than learning more, I decided to just get my assignments over with. Hooray for education.
Also, those links to layout managers helped immensely. Problem solved with a FlowLayout. If I have time, I'll refactor to use swing (as I should probably learn), but for now, problem solved!
