POJO is the acronym of plain old java object.
It means that this object is simple, ie. uses the core jdk without specific technologies.
On the other hand a JavaBean can be POJO or an advanced class that uses enterprise technologies.
A POJO does not have to be a JavaBean, ie. It is not a must that it will have properties
In short, a Java Bean is a Plain Old Java Object that follows some simple coding conventions.
