    BeanInfo files in separate jar

Is it possible to divide the bean in two jar files: one with the class which represent the actual component and one with the files which describe the bean - BeanInfo etc.
If so how can I do that?

Sure you can split the two classes up. Use the jar utility. You can also use Ant to automate the task.

Is it possible to build the Bean and BeanInfo classes in one JAR file and the Custom Property Editor class in a different JAR- the JAR file with the Bean and BeanInfo classes has the JAR file with the Custom Property Editor class on the classpath, but during drag and drop of the JavaBean in an IDE, a class not found exception is thrown for the Custom Property Editor class. Are all classes for a given JavaBean required to be built into the same JAR file?
