Programatically disabling/hiding communication data from java console

Hi,

I've recently noticed that whenever my signed applet performs any kind of communication, it is described in the java plug-in console, e.g.

network: Connecting http://abcdefg.com.........

this is printed each time I use URLConnection class

the thing is that I'd like to keep my backend server URLs hidden and not visible to the customers using my applet, how can I disable these lines or hide them ?

I know that the customer can easily install a sniffer and see the URL I'm accessing but that doesn't bother me because this is a high level customer who can achieve such things...

I've tried setting during runtime, just before accessing the URL, the system parameter javaplugin.trace and also javaplugin.trace as described at http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/plugin/developer_guide/tracing_logging.html

however, they do not change anything and the same lines keep being printed out...

anyone ?

thanks,
Gil.
