Javadoc -link not working from command-line?

Howdy,
Normally using javadoc from with my IDE (netbeans) but resorted to working with command-line since I'm trying to work through a problem I'm having with a javadoc option within the IDE.

From command-line I'm providing two links to web locations, one of which is here:
http://www.cyclemaniaque.com/attask/api

Running javadoc (1.6.0_18) (I can ping this location from command-line) from command-line results in unresolved references to all of the objects referenced javadoc at the link location I've specified.

so my actual command looks like this:
javadoc -subpackages com.company.package.api -link http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api -link http://www.cyclemanique.com/attask/api -d ..\docs -sourcepath .

Odd thing is, running this from the Netbeans options (the -link items) works fine (but the -subpackages option isn't working).

I'm not getting errors from the command-line run that there's any problem trying to access the -link location. No problem finding the java javadoc (-link http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api)
