    Problems with opening sip connection


      When I execute following:
               scn = (SipConnectionNotifier) Connector.open("sip:5099");
      I receie the following erro, needless to say I cannot open up a new connection:

          few questions:
          - Did you try using the full URI (for example sip:user@
          - are you running it on a physical platform or emulator?
          - are you able to run any other SIP demos/examples? Maybe your platform does not support SIP.

            Thanks for your response, I am currently developing ME application on WTK 3.0 for OS X.
            I tried SIP funcioning on my system using external clients as well as ANdroid emulator and never got similar errors, everything seems to works fine.
            And what you mention in the first point, yes i tried it, but still it doen't work, the thing is that in sip on Java Me you have two sip connections sip server and sip client connection; sip server connection you open pointing out on which port the device should listen for the incoming connections (f.i Connector.open("sip:5060")) and sip client connection you open using the syntax you mentioned
