JME support for touch screen and vibration

Hi all, How are you?
I need to develop a application for mobile phone, and it is going to use the mobile touch screen and vibration features.
Does somebody know if there is an JME API, or JSR that provides access/control to Mobile's touch screen and vibration features?
Does somebody know if it is feasible to do it using JME?

I appreciate any help you can give,
thanks in advance,
Roger

You don't say which device you are planning on using...

There is nothing in MIDP1 or MIDP2 (or in the draft of MIDP3 for that matter) that supports vibration. The Nokia UI does provide support for vibration in the DeviceControl class. So if your device is a Nokia thing then at least that may be available.

Nothing in MIDP supports or prevents the use of a touch screen. I would hope that the device's native software or OS would provide a means for using the touch screen like a normal keypad/keyboard and that would be made available to a Canvas as either key events or pointer events.
