    DB_BLOCK_SIZE

    422492
In 10g can you change the db_block_size after a database has been created, and if so how do i do this from the Enterprise Manager? (ive been to the initialization parameters section and it said its read only, also it didnt work when i tried an alter system command)

      Thanks,

You cannot change the block size after database creation except by re-creating the database.

Beginning in 9i you can have TABLESPACES with different block sizes within the same database instance. Take a look at the db_nk_cache_size parameter.

Also look at the blocksize clause of the create tablespace statement.

As Laurent said, you can't change the block size of your database.
