Anyway to adapt a X6764A 181GB FC (Hard Drive)  to work in a SunBlade 2500

I messed up and bought a Sun X8754A drive (181GB) to fit into a SunBlade 2500 the internal SCSI FC connectors on the SunBlade are larger then the connectors on the Sun X8754A drive which have smaller ones......

I know I messed up but is there any adapter out there or easy inexpensive way for me to use the drive I 'bought?

      Any ideas much appreciated!
      Thanks,
      Tom

Is it FC? Looking at the sun hardware handbook, it says the SunBlade 2500 has internal SCSI disks, not FC disks.

SCSI SCA connectors have either 80 pins or 68 pins. FC SCA connectors have 40 pins.

No, I don't think there's any way to adapt it. There used to be devices that would translate between HVD scsi and LVD scsi, but that was just a voltage difference. This is a completely different signalling structure. I think you'll have to buy a scsi drive.
