This perfectly describes the issue that I am currently having.. Can some one help ?
Try using the jumper 13 (JP13) on Sunfire V100 motherboard.
put in - off a jumper on JP13. The "lom>" promt will appear.
I have had the same issue, and have been able to get to the lom> prompt using JP13, but this does not allow me to delete the prevoiusly configured users or create my own. Is there more that must be done to be able to do this?
On my V100, when I use the JP13 reset, the console reports the following:
LOMlite starting up.
CPU type: H8/3437S, mode 3
Ram-test: 2048 bytes OK
Initialising i2c bus: OK
Searching for EEPROMs: 50(cfg)
I2c eeprom @50: OK
i2c bus speed code 01... OK
Probing for lm80s: none
Probing for lm75s: 48
Initialising lm75 @48: OK
System functions: PSUs fans breakers rails gpio temps host CLI ebus clock
This V100 was purchased from eBay and as such I do not have any information on
the login/password. Surely there is a way to reset this or some default login/password?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone ever figured this out? I have two v120s in need of recovery.
I cannot find the JP13 jumper on the motherboard. I used to have Sun FE manuals but got rid of them last year because I thought they were available online. I appear to be mistaken or they have been removed.
