configure my DHCP Server to flush the client MAC cache

      Hi,

I have DHCP Configured with different IP Pools on it. i.e.

      10.10.x.x and 10.244.x.x

I have 2 seperate VLANs, If request comes from 10.10.x.1 gateway it should provide IP Address from 10.10.x.x pool and If the request comes from 10.244.x.1 gateway it should provide IP Address from 10.244.x.x pool, which it is doing for all new requests. But if I took off the a node from 10.10.x.x network and plugged it into the 10.244.x.x network still it is getting the same previous IP from 10.10.x.x network.

Reason is that, DHCP doesn't flush the cache as soon as it release the IP.

I read that "Shorten the offer cache timeout interval (-o)". How can I do this?

How can I configure my DHCP Server to flush the clients MAC cache as soon as client release it's IP?
