          Hi,

Sun Inventory can be available for Solaris 8, 9 and 10 initially. Sun is adding service tags to many of its hardware, storage, and software products, including Solaris 10 8/07.
You can automatically register products that have service tags.

To discover and register earlier versions of Solaris OS, or other operating systems and service processors, download the Sun Service Tag package
and install it on your systems. The Sun Service Tag package is available for the following operating systems and service processors:

          Solaris 10 OS
          Solaris 9 OS
          Solaris 8 OS
          Red Had Enterprise Linux 3, 4, 5
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, 10
          Windows 2000
          Windows Server 2003
          Windows XP
          Windows Vista

          Good luck.
