    Multi-Domains uid  IM client - Issue

    807574
      Hi guys,

      do know you how to fix this....

      I am using SC suite 6 update 2 (all is installed in the same server, the app server and the access manager are installed)

      I have multiple domains in my LDAP, such as domain1.com domain2.com, If the same person has an account in both domain the IM client cannot connect , it says "user not authorize", this is because the IM finds the same uid twice (one for each domain)

      Domain1.com
      uid=user1

      Doamin2.com
      uid=user1

      I'm using Pidgin as IM client, is there a way to make the authentication using the uid + domain like user1@domain1.com ??

      p.s. if i remove the account from one of the domain it works fine

      thanks a lot

          Are you using Access Manager or LDAP for authentication?

          There is a good guide here on IM and hosted domains:

          Regards,

            Hi Shane,

            I got it working...

            I did the following changes to the iim.config

            iim_server.usesso = "0"
            iim.policy.modules = "iim_ldap_schema2"
            iim_ldap.schema2.domain_config_root = "dc=domain,dc=com"
            iim_ldap.usergroupbindcred="xxxxxxxxx"

            thanks Shane
