Have you tried to use "GlassFish v2.x" from the list instead of "Application Server 8.2"? SJS AS 9.1 and GlassFish v2 should be the same.
Please, check http://wiki.glassfish.java.net/Wiki.jsp?page=GlassFishFAQ#section-GlassFishFAQ-WhatIsTheDifferenceBetweenSunOneSJSASAndGlassFish
Great thanks, it works. I've chosen glassfish 2.x and pointed it to the Sun Java System Application Server 9.2.
Btw, do you know if this is a know netbeans bug?
Actually, I'm not sure whether it is a bug. For example, SJSAS 8.2 doesn't support Java EE 5 so when an user select it from the list for a SJSAS 9.2 instance which is GlassFish v2 in fact with Java EE 5 support, the IDE should protest.
