dynamic mbean and accessing a properties file...
Nov 9, 2007 9:49 PM
I am using the example used in http://weblogs.java.net/blog/emcmanus/archive/2006/11/a_real_example.html which is a dynamic bean used to access a properties file and modify it...
I have come up with the following jboss-service.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<mbean code="x.y.z.Startup" name="ZPortal:service=Startup">
<mbean code="x.y.z.PropertyManager" name="ZPortal:service=PropertyManager">
The 'StartUp' bean is a straightforward mbean which is working fine...I have added the PropertyManager dynamic bean from the the above example with one of the attributes as propertyFileName...
However I get the following error:
org.jboss.deployment.DeploymentException: x.y.z.PropertyManager.<init>(); - nested throwable: (java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: x.y.z.PropertyManager.<init>())
Am i missing something?

Did you package your mbean and its descriptor separately in its own jar?
