Quiero aprender todo sobre Seguridad, quien me podrÃa brindar su sabidurÃa.
The only way that I know how to connect directly to a process without going over the listener is to use a shared server instead of a dedicated server.
Then you can talk directly to a dispatcher port rather than have the listener redirect you elsewhere.
If you need help configuring that let me know.
Yes, I do need help on how to configure the Windows NT as dedicated server
Ok, I'll try to explain how to set it up.
First off log onto the 10g Enterprise Manager
something like http://hostname:5500/em
Go to the Administration tab and click on "All initialisation parameters"
Then select tab "spfile" and select the checkbox "Apply changes in SPFile mode to the current running instance(s)"
Find the parameter "DISPATCHER" and append the following to the line
you'll have to select something sensible for the servicename, port and host.
Now you will have a dispatcher running.
You can connect to it by setting your tnsnames entry to
and referring to that tnsnames entry.
You'll have to adjust your memory parameters now. If you don't know what you're doing there, I suggest enabling
"Automatic Shared Memory Management" in "Memory Parameters".
Hope that helped.
Thanks for your reply I did as you explained and it worked
