    DHCP Unknown Hostname

I just installed Solaris 10 9/10 with Virtual Box in my laptop. I configured Solaris to use DHCP but the installation process didn't ask me about the hostname. At the end, the hostname appears as "unknown". Is there a way to change this behaviour? How can I change the hostname?

Yes, I've tried to create a file /etc/nodename, modify /etc/hosts, /etc/hostname.$interface and /etc/defaults/dhcpclient. But the hostname still appears as "unknown".

Could someone explain the process that solaris follows to get a hostname?

      Thank you,
