    Map Network Drive through JNDI

      Hi Experts

      we have a requirement to set the network drive path of the user in Microsoft AD through JAVA. can anyone please share a sample code for this? or can guide me how to go about it?

            first of sorry for JAVA, Java it is indeed....
            and well if the first requirement would have been addressed, it would have been really kind
            i have been googling for this but so far, can only find solutions using script files that require both user-name and password for which the drive is to be mapped.

            my requirement is to set (Z) drive path for user using java through administrator account.

            really grateful if any help rendered.

              Active Directory is an LDAP database.

              Entries in an LDAP database have DNs, which are keys, and attributes, such as the one you are trying to set.

              You can access LDAP via JNDI. JNDI has facilities to look up an object and modify its attributes.

              Everything else you need to know is in the Javadoc or the JNDI tutorial.
