IOP vs S&OP
Mar 3, 2011 7:07 AM
I have a doubt w.r.t IOP............
In RTS&OP, we have a financial review process, where in we compare various operation targets against budget, revenue, margin etc. which are pulled from Hyperion system.
1.In what way IOP and RTS&OP module are different......... ?
2.In a supply chain process, where this module fits?

IOP closes the gap between operations and finance. It is commonly used by operations finance teams to determine financial aspects of operations such as revenue plans, cost plans, and margin plans.
S&OP is a operations process primarily. IOP and RT S&OP can be complementary.
