FYI- We are using MS SQL Server 2008 R2 .
And for UCM database we have used SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS i.e case insensitive collation.
You might need to install OracleCaseInsensitiveSearch component from the 10g patchset 6907073 on UCM 11g and then see how it works out .
Is there a similar component for SQL server 2008.Our queries in UCM database are case sensitive. Is there any way to add "ignorecase" parameter in all UCM queries, so that resultant results are case insensitive.

This component is to be intalled on UCM side irrespective of which DB you are using .
We are using ECM 220.127.116.11 and we are not able to find "extras" folder within any UpdateBundle component (90 MB). Can you provide us the link from where we can download this component. We searched a lot regarding OracleCaseInsensitiveSearch.zip but couldn't find anything.
I just looked and it is in the latest CS10gR35UpdateBundle Component 2011_02_08 (build 93). You can download this via Metalink.
Inside the component zip you can find OracleCaseInsensitiveSearch.zip under component\CS10gR35UpdateBundle\extras\
open the url: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/webcenter/content/downloads/index-ucm10g-082682.html
and click the link: Universal Content Management 10.1.4.x.x Patches. Then download the patch and inside the patch folder open the extra directory and take the component OracleCaseInsensitiveSearch.zip file.
Open UCM and install this component into it. Enable the component and restart.
