Until the product is certified and the installation procedure is written, we cannot create an oracle-validated RPM. I'm not even sure if Database will install on OL6 at all. You could try following the manual EL5 process and see how far you get. :) It's on my list of things to-do, but that list is pretty long.
So what is the process with R6U0?
As Avi suggested, following the Oracle installation for OEL 5 is pretty fine - eventhough 11gR2 on OEL6 is not yet cetified.
I just received an exception on the missing package pdksh-5.2.14-30.6.x86_64.rpm. It was not required on OEL5, I'm not a Linux specialist but I have had to take it from OEL4.7, then everything is working fine.
--> From OEL 6.0 rpm -Uvh kernel-headers-2.6.32-71.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh glibc-headers-2.12-1.7.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh glibc-devel-2.12-1.7.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh compat-gcc-34-3.4.6-19.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh libaio-devel-0.3.107-10.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-69.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh elfutils-libelf-devel-0.148-1.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh ppl-0.10.2-11.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh cloog-ppl-0.15.7-1.2.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh mpfr-2.4.1-6.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh cpp-4.4.4-13.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh gcc-4.4.4-13.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh libstdc++-devel-4.4.4-13.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -Uvh gcc-c++-4.4.4-13.el6.x86_64.rpm --> From OEL4.7 (Disk1) rpm -Uvh pdksh-5.2.14-30.6.x86_64.rpm
the installation for Oracle on OEL 6.0 is beside system-icon-theme rpm exactly like RHEL 6.0. I tested myself on both 32/64 bit architectures. For me OEL 6.0 looks fine however as you know it isn't yet certified by Oracle. That could be an explanation why oracle-validated rpm is missing. If you are interested in step by step how-to's visit:

Hi all , Hi Nicolas
I just made an install of 6 on VirtualBox (using you blog Nicolas ;-) ) and I was wondering why I did not find the oracle-validated rpm..
The answer is here. Not yet certified.
My goal was (no is) to test oracle 11gR2 and also Fusion Middleware forms and reports 11gR1 install which are, I suppose not certified also...
Do you have informations (approx) when the Oracle Linux 6 will be certified for those software ?
I' m not in a hurry of course but I'm always trying to be up-to-date with the latest oracle products and I found this linux 6 very interesting with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel, performance improvements and more...
