Can this functionality be used with non-HTML enabled mail clients? For security purposes, HTML formatting is blocked and only plain text is permitted. When the request email is received, the calendar event information is not available (not even as an attachment) and obviously the recipient cannot accept/reject the invitation. Thanks in-advance.
I have a requirement to send recurring meeting request which will be spanning between a start date and end date at a specific time. Are there any inputs in this regard? Ideally require it not to have a response as mandatory, but just to block the timings on the Outlook calendar. Any inputs? Much appreciate.
I've installed this solution almost 'as is', just amending the mail server address. It works great if I send out to my gmail account, but if I try to use Outlook I just get a flat e-mail and no calendar invitation? The message format is HTML, any idea why the invitation is not appearing?
reading this thread I'd like to add this webpage which describes how to provide a "complete" calendar in iCal format to which Outlook or Thunderbird clients
can subscribe ... no email needed then ...
The howto is in german - but should be quite understandable ...
