when I want to forward a notification to user Ruud van Nistelrooy, I search for "Nistelrooy" and i find "Nistelrooy, Ruud" instead of " Nistelrooy, Ruud van". Can someone explane me how to change te settings to see the complete name.(included prefix names)
You need to update your name format. Steps are:
1. Check profile option HR: Local or Global Name Format and set it accordingly.
2. Set name format of local/global (which u defined in above profile) option through Super HRMS Manager --> Other Definitions --> Person Name Formats.
3. Run seeded concurrent program : Update Person Name.
4. Verify the change in WF_ROLES where NAME is the FND User ID.
Hope it will resolve your problem.
Ayaz is right about Person Name Formats.
The name you see in PUI is generally speaking the full_name. The name you see in approvers comes from WF roles, which is global_name.
If you want them to match you'll need to follow Ayaz's steps to set Person Name Formats. You can then verify that global_name shows what you want in the per_all_people_f table.
When you're happy with that, try running the 'Synchronize WF LOCAL tables' concurrent program to propagate data through to the WF roles tables. You could also try running 'Workflow Directory Services User/Role Validation'.
Then what's the role_name in wf_roles?
Do a "CTRL-L" inside the NL HRMS Responsibility and then search for '%Format%'.. If it is defined for NL legislation you will see a function 'HR Name Formats'
I guess the form function is not defined for NL and most of the EMEA seeded legislations.
If so, you can add the form function "HR Name Formats" to your customized Menu/Responsibility and work on it.
