See http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.oci8.php and http://blogs.oracle.com/opal/2008/12/some_php_oracle_books.html
but the second yes ? does it mean that i can wrote oracle sql queries instead of my sql
when i develop with php ?
or you meant that i do not have to know about databases to develop with php ?
The PHP OCI8 extension sends any SQL to the Oracle database, so the SQL syntax is Oracle specific.
There are PHP frameworks that will create the SQL for you so you don't have to know as much about SQL or the DB.
If you are writing anything more than a test application, consider using a framework.
At last, my wish to learn PHP is fullfilled by your PHP software.
