I have a distributed installation. This is version 11.1.2. I could see Essbase in Shared services with all apps. This is my configuration --
server 1 --- EAS Web application is installed --
Hyperion Administration Services - Web Application is running. My web application config ran without error.
server 2 -- Where essbase is installed
Oracle Process Manager (EPM_epmsystem1) is running - no error -- I see essbase.exe in the task manager.
But when I try to access Essbase thru EAS Admin services console - I get error "Can not connect to Administration Server"
I see following validation error ?
Validation shows this error for << Essbase / Essbase Administration Services >>
FAILED WEB: Web App Availability of web application context http://<<server>>:10080/easconsole/easconsole.jnlp
Error: com.hyperion.cis.utils.BadResponseCodeException: Bad response code with GET method: 404
Recommended Action: Check application is started
There is no error in HyS9eas-syserr.log.

Do I need to reconfigure the web app ? What do I need to do to connect to EAS Admin server ?
Is there a start up order that I need to follow in Distributed environment?

If you log on to server1, restart EAS, if the EAS logs have no errors in them try and go to :- http://server1:10080/easconsole/console.html
I know there were issues in 11.1.2 if you logged out of a remote desktop connection it could bring down the web app, not sure if that is your issue.
There is not really any strict start up order in 11.1.2, the main importance is the rdbms is up and running.
I have changed the tmp location for all the services to point \services\tmp instead of user account tmp folder. Also all RDBMS is running . Still could not get to the http://server1:10080/easconsole/console.html
I am getting 404 error.
One thing I did though - After installation Managed server will not start up. I had copied the securities folder from Weblogic Admin server to Managed Server. That did enable to run the Weblogic Managed server and all the Services including Hys9EAS.
Do I need to redeploy EAS ?
