Try to ping the DB server from the application server:
ping hostnameIf this is successful then see if you can hit the db using the db hostname and port:
telnet hostname portIf this is working you should be ok to retry the installation. If you have problems you will need to see if any firewall rules are enabled that are preventing the CCG application server from communicating with the database.

tnsping works and able to connect to the database. Even re installation doesn't resolve the issue.

Please see my previous post, I answered your questions on how to connect. Use the PING command from the appserver/tomcat box to the db box. So from the appserver/tomcat box you would run:
ping <db hostname>Then if that's successfull you can try to telnet to the db from the appserver/tomcat by running the following:
telnet <db hostname> <db port>That should tell you if it can connect to the database of the ERP.
