FNDFS executables stays in mid-tier and consumes lot of CPU time.

      Hello,

We have EBS R12 running on Windows 2008 R2 servers.

Here we see a problem with FNDFS executable. When users requests to view large log and out files through EBS, FNDFS spawns and never terminates even users close their EBS session. I guess this is what happens, users clicks on view log/out and they keep waiting for entire message load. As the requested data is more it will take long time to load the data and users closes brower session. After closing, FNDFS still thinks request is not served and continues to pull the information from mid-tier.

      Questions:
      1) Why FNDFS executable will not termiante even the browser session is closed.
      2) Do we have any time out parameter for View log/out or FNDFS. so that after specified amout of time session dies out in mid-tier.

      Regards,
      Narayan

Was this working before? If yes, any changes have been done recently?

Please relink this executable file via adadmin and see if you can reproduce the issue then.
          2) Do we have any time out parameter for View log/out or FNDFS. so that after specified amout of time session dies out in mid-tier.
