Any Configuration Required for Solaris T3-2 Virtual CPUs in Global Zone?

Any additional configuration requirements for a Solaris 10 T3-2 64bit server that has 256 virtual CPUs and only 4 physical CPUs for building Oracle 11gR2 database on a global zone server.

Should the virtual cpu's be configured differently? if database is part of global zone?

There are no local zones on the server.

No additional configuration is required to run Oracle database on T3-2 machines.

Are you trying to install database on T3-2 Server directly without installing Logical Domains. It is recommended to configure primary and secondary I/O domains for redundancy purpose and start configuring guest domains on which you can run Oracle database.

You will be wasting the high end system if you are running it directly on T3-2 box.
