It is not mandatory that you need to use only merant driver to create dwh tables. You can also use database specific drivers for creating dwh tables.
For Ex: If you are using Oracle as the database then you can use Oracle in OraDb11g_home1 driver for creating the ODBC connection and you can use this ODBC connection while creating dwh tables through dac.
Hope this helps........

I had succeded with oracle merant odbc drivers only for generating DWH tables. But currenctly in my machine there is not merant odbc drivers. How can i get that odbc drives. Actually i need to get that drivers with dac installation. But in my machine is not installed.
In a 64 bit machine the ODBC ur looking is 64 bit ODBC, if u want to see the 32 bit ODBc u have to go to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe" which is 32 bit ODBC and use this DSN to create ur DWH tables
Hope this helps uuu
Thank you very much Ranganatham. In the 32 bit odbc drivers "Oracle merant odbc drivers are there". Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Were you able to use the merant driver found via the 32 bit odbc connection on the 64 bit machine. Though I found it as per the comments above, the 32 bit odbc set up gave an error, specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 193: (oracle merant odbc driver....seor820.dll).
