We are currently on PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 Tools 8.47 and looking to upgrade PeopleSoft HCM TO 9.1 and Tools to 8.51 while leaving EPM on an 8.8 release and leave Portal on 8.9 with tools 8.47? Can someone share the pros and cons of taking this approach.
If you are using portal to access your HRMS system then you will face a lot of integration issues.
- You should have same tools version on both portal and HRMS
- It is recommended to have same appln versions for Portal and integrated applns
You might also get hit if your EPM and HRMS are closely integrated.
