I still have the same problem in 10.1.3.3
The broken pipe error shows up in my error log and the application just seems to freeze for a few minutes.
Can someone of Oracle please reply on this problem, that would be very much appreciated.
Thank in advance.
the best is to log a SR in Metalink, against OC4J - the issue doesn't seem to be in ADF.
The Support engineer will get more information with RDA (Remote Diagnostic Agent).
Thanks for the reply. You're right, the problem isn't in ADF. Broken pipe seems to mean the server tried to send a response to a client but the client didn't need it anymore.
IE: the client clicked an other link before the server could respond on the first click, the user logged out, ....
Thanks again for the response
Yes, there may be several causes as Network congestion, latency, Firewalls, timeouts, ...
but also when the browser (client) breaks the socket connection to the server due to the user hitting the stop button, issuing another HTTP request, ...
F.ex. IE allows the end user to interact with some widgets on the pages even though the cursor is an hourglass
try to use machine name when call your application URL
I have the same problem, i must restart the browser. I changed the name of the deployment profile, deploy this, and the aplication works fine.
We also having the same issue. We are using 10.1.3.4 and the same is showing only for one application that is using ADF with ADF Security.
Logged Oracle SR, still no help. Is this issue resolved for you case, if yes what was the solution ?
We also see the same issue with our ADF application using ADF security and using 10.1.3.4 OC4J.
Raised Oracle SR, no help as of now. Is this issue resolved for you yet ? if yes what was the solution ?
I get this error and strange part is that only one user gets this issue. Is there any update on this error please ?
