    how to connect different machine databases?

      i would like to know how to connect computer A windows oracle and computer B ubuntu mysql.
      can i have the step by step tutorial?
      sorry if this issue have been posted before and it is posted before can i have the link to refer?

          Assuming you use the Oracle database as driving site you have to use Database Gateway for ODBC (=DG4ODBC).

          In short the steps are:
          1. Install Database Gateway for ODBC
          2. Get a MySQL ODBC driver for the platform where you've just installed DG4ODBC
          3. Configure DG4ODBC and SQL*Net
          4. Define a database link
