Java Control Panel
Nov 17, 2011 2:29 PM
I am running java 1.6.0_27 32bit on RHEL 6.1.
I have a jnlp file that is stored in the Java Cache Viewer but the Install Shortcut button is disabled.
I have the exact same build on a different box and that button was enabled.
I need this to create the application shortcut on the desktop but I have no idea why it is doing this.
In the options I have Always allow shortcut creation.
Any help is appreciated.

in response to
What window manager is used? Is it the same (and same version) on both boxes?
The way shortcuts are created depends on window manager on Linux and not all managers are supported if i am not mistaken.
