Where are the HTML tags defined for a given page/record/field

I have a requirement to capture a value that is on a PeopleSoft page to pass along to another application for enterprise content managment linking.

The application being used leverages the HTML tags to define the value to be captured.

The issue I am having is that the HTML tag for the delivered field seems to change depending on other attributes of the page.  In some cases the value is <PEB#66>, and in others it is <PEB#64>.  I believe this is due to dynamic html inherent to PeopleSoft for some pages/records/fields.  What I would like to know is where I can either:
