Saved Search with locked fields
Hi There
Is it possible for an end user to see a saved search's results where they might not have the permissions to edit the underlying record fields?
This could be as a result of them not having permission to view the underlying record type or the field itself might be locked.
The example I had in mind was of 'annual salary'
This is a locked field by a third party (the developer of the payroll bundle for our account)
A manager has been given access to the employee record as 'view' only.
They cannot see the annual salary figure on the employee record however as their role is not one of the roles defined by the software vendor as having permission
