EMPLOYEE SAVED SEARCH | Exposing First and Last Name / Employee ID using a Formula

When creating an Employee Saved Search, you'll notice that when we add the Name Field on the Results tab, the Employee ID will show on the search instead of the first and last name.

So here's what we can do.

In the results tab, lets use the Formula Text field to expose the first and last name.

REGEXP_SUBSTR({firstname},'[^ ]+') ||' ' || {lastname}

and it will look like this:

On the other hand, if you want both the Employee ID and the name to be in just one column -- we use this formula:

{entityid} ||' ' || REGEXP_SUBSTR({firstname},'[^ ]+') ||' ' || {lastname}
