Advanced PDF item.quantityavailable seems to be broken in 2017.2

On an advanced PDF picking ticket - inside a working <#if record.item?has_content>, with a <#list record.item as item> the element ${item.quantityavailable} used to render just fine and equal the value displayed in that column on the sales order...  now after 2017.2 - it does not work and returns nothing... 

Anyone seen that feature?
