Item name vs. display name on Advance PDF Templates
We've switched our Sales Order pdf layout over to the advanced pdf version. I noticed that ${item.item} is a combination of the Item Name {ItemID} and Display Name {displayname}.
In the basic printing type (original transaction pdf templates), if the item's display name is not blank, only the display name will show. (The item name {itemID} will not.) If the display name is blank, then only the item name {itemid} will show. I need this to function the same way on the advanced pdf template. Some of our items have a display name and others don't. If it's there, we only want the display name to show - not the item name. How can I achieve this in the advanced templates? Any help is appreciated!
