Using Opportunities for Sales Projections

Hi All,

Our company has been using NetSuite for several years but we haven't fully taken advantage of financial forecasting via opportunities and are wondering if anyone can give us some pointers/best practices.

We sell a service direct to consumers. As such, many prospects will be undecided between two different services that vary widely in price. Any recommendations on how to fill out our items on opportunities to best capture their potential sales amount?
