CSV Import Converting Text to Dates...

edited Dec 3, 2019 12:35PM in Account Administration 9 comments

Hi, we are in the implementation phase with Netsuite and my first attempt to import the CoA is hitting problems.  We are loading MYOB accounts which have names like 1-1900.  When I save these in text in csv format all is fine.  But when I load into Netsuite I'm getting a lot of errors.  The errors are having problems with fields with values like May-00 etc.  So it looks like the import is converting the text fields into general/date values and then falling over.

Has anyone experienced this and have any solutions?

I've tried opening in ultra-edit to check and the values are fine in there.  I've saved as a text file and loaded the file and get the same problem.  It looks like it's something Netsuite csv load is doing.
