Identify Item Type returned by Search
I am doing a search of Items by Name. How do I know what type of item (Inventory, Non Inventory) has been returned by the search so I know what type of Item to Cast the returned record to. I need to get the Internal ID of the item.
If I knew what the Item Type was I would used the code:
for (int i = 0; i < result.getTotalRecords(); i++) { NonInventoryResaleItem item = (NonInventoryResaleItem)recordList.getRecord(i); internalID = item.getInternalId(); ....
but in this case I don't know the Item Type that will be returned.
Thanks,
Wayne Wundram
