custom checkout domain failure | deployment status: secure Netsuite hosting: failed

We use a custom checkout domain checkout.impowerlinx.ca instead of NetSuite's checkout domain and everything working fine for 4-5 years and now when users try to log into our webstore, after submitting credentials they get a type of browser connection error message. The message varies from browser to browser but on firefox I get this:

An error occurred during a connection to checkout.impowerlinx.ca. SSL peer has no certificate for the requested DNS name. (Error code: ssl_error_unrecognized_name_alert)

In Safari I get this:
