Customizing Customer Center

So I am trying to develop the customer center as a site where customers can go to review the status of their "jobs" or "projects" or "cases". Right now, if I create a Case and they enter the CC, then they can only see the "Messages" attached to the Case Record, they can not see Tasks, Events, or Phone Calls.

Ideally, I would like to find a way to display more infromation in the Customer Center so the Customers can keep tabs on their jobs. I don't care if I have to use the "job" functionality or the "case" functionality" or anything else, I just need to get them access to more information than comes out of the box.
