SuiteScript-triggered saved search cached?

I am using a script that calls a saved search. The script performs smoothly, but sometimes it uses what seems to be an old search result.

Is it possible that the script has access to a cached version of the search? I solve this by saving my search under a different name, and will eventually embed the search terms in the script, but I find it useful to see the data I am working on while developing.

Anyone else has seen this?
